Section 110.2 is also very broad, requiring that everything installed under the NEC must be acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction.
This section in itself only specifies that conductors and equipment required or permitted by the Code are all required to be approved, but Article 100 defines approved as "acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction."
Article 100 also defines authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) as "an organization, office or individual responsible for enforcing the requirements of a code or standard and for approving equipment, materials, installation or a procedure." The authority having jurisdiction was discussed in more detail in Course Module 1: Introduction to the NEC.
