Uninterruptible Power Supply

In addition to fire alarm systems where the transfer to standby power cannot take place without loss of signals, there are special requirements for computer-based fire alarm systems. These requirements specify the time it takes to restart the computer system

The UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) must be able to carry the full system load for 15 minutes. The UPS must seamlessly connect to the primary power supply so that the loss of the primary supply will not damage the computer's operating system or the software.
