Battery Calculations
Now the fire alarm system will be put into the alarm state. The batteries will have to power the system for five minutes in the alarm state.
Sample Battery Calculation for Alarm Mode
Five minutes is the alarm requirement, and this represents 0.083 hours. You'll also need to do the calculations for the alarm condition alarm condition
0.083 hours x 5.75 amps = 0.477 amp-hours .
The total is 5.28 amp-hours. That represents the total of Standby + Alarm.
