Some municipalities add equipment that lets all or part of the system receive and transmit voice signals. In those cases, the telephone systemIt is becoming more common for the municipality to replace the coded box system with a telephone system, and in some cases, transform the entire system to a radio box system, doing away with the older coded wire system. uses the same wiring as the coded wired box system.
