Code Compliance Indication

NFPA 72 requires that a central station service company indicate very plainly that the system installed is completely code compliant. This is typically in the form of a placard or certificate that is kept either at the fire alarm panel or some other place nearIt has to be posted within three feet of the main fire alarm control unit. Copies can be requested by the AHJ for their files. the fire alarm system for all to see.

The document contains information regarding the installation, and the record of completion for the system can be used to fulfill this requirement.
