Record Maintenance

Records of all signals The signal log includes type of signal, date and time received and any disposition and outcome. received at the remote station must be maintained for at least one (1) year.  This includes all signals and their restoration, and the action taken as a result of the signal. 

Test, maintenance and inspection records This applies to the remote station receiving equipment. are kept for a two (2) year rotating basis, as is required for all other fire alarm systems.  Records can be manually createdTypically, the records will be kept on a running log in the remote station, but they will probably be transferred to an electronic format. - there is no requirement for automatic record generation.
